If selected, you’ll receive a booking link to choose your shoot date and preferred location.
Step 3: Show Up and Be You
We’ll meet for a relaxed shoot.
I’ll guide you through the session while casually recording a conversation from my POV.
Step 4: Access Your Photos
You’ll receive one complimentary headshot from the photoshoot session.
If you’d like access to more photos, you’ll have the option to purchase them after your session.

What happens after I apply?
Once you apply, I’ll personally review your submission. If selected, you’ll receive a link to book your session and share your preferred shoot location within the San Francisco Bay Area.
Where does the photoshoot take place?
Once you’re approved and book your session, you’ll have a chance to let me know where you’d like the shoot to take place. I’m open to locations that feel meaningful to you, whether that’s tied to your business, your brand aesthetic, or simply somewhere you feel at ease. I can also suggest options if you’re unsure.
Do I need to prepare anything for the interview?
No preparation is required. The interview is relaxed and conversational. I’ll guide you with thoughtful questions throughout.
When you sign up, you’re welcome to share anything that’s meaningful to you and any topics you’d like to explore.
What kind of questions will you ask during the interview?
The interview is designed to feel like a natural conversation while we walk and shoot.
Here are some examples of the types of questions I might ask:

- What advice would you give to women who are just getting started?

These questions are flexible, there’s no script. It’s simply a chance to reflect, share, and connect through your story.
How long does the session take?
Sessions typically take about one hour from start to finish, including photos, the recorded conversation, and some time to get comfortable and settled in.
Will I receive the video clips to post myself?
The short clips from your interview will be edited and shared across our social channels.
While you won’t receive raw or downloadable files, you’re welcome to reshare any of the featured content once it’s live.
Is this really free?
Yes. Your session, headshot, and feature are completely free.
After your session, you’ll have the option to purchase additional photos from your gallery. While this is entirely optional, it’s a great way to support the growth of the series. Any purchases help fund the time, care, and energy I put into curating, editing, and sharing these founder stories so this project can continue to grow and uplift more women.
Can I use the headshot for LinkedIn, press, or speaking engagements?
Absolutely. Your complimentary headshot is professionally edited and perfect for LinkedIn, media kits, pitch decks, speaking bios, website updates, and wherever else your brand needs to be seen.
